Blackfoot Regional Park, located in the picturesque Peace River Regional District (PRRD), is now offering online reservations for campers in partnership with Let’s Camp, bringing added convenience to outdoor enthusiasts.
As announced by the PRRD, campers can now easily view available camping sites, book their preferred spot, and securely pay for their reservation up to 30 days in advance, ensuring a hassle-free camping experience.
Located just 75 kilometers east of Fort St. John and 51 kilometers north of Dawson Creek at 2098 Rolla Road, Blackfoot Regional Park offers a serene getaway for nature lovers.
With 32 sites available for tent and RV bookings, campers have the option to choose between power and non-power sites based on their preferences and needs. For those who prefer a more spontaneous approach, the park offers eight additional first-come-first-serve sites for a rustic camping experience.
The online reservation system provided by Let’s Camp streamlines the booking process, allowing campers to easily plan their trip and secure their preferred camping spot with just a few clicks. This eliminates the need for a last-minute rush or disappointment of finding all spots occupied upon arrival, ensuring a smooth and stress-free camping experience.
Blackfoot Regional Park is open for camping from May 15th to September 30th, providing ample opportunities for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy the beauty of the surrounding natural landscapes during the warmer months.
The park, which was established by residents with a crew of summer students in 1972 through a grant from the Province of British Columbia, has been maintained by the Regional District since 1988, ensuring well-maintained facilities and a safe camping environment for visitors.
