Campfire Ranch, an outdoor hospitality brand based in Colorado, will open a new bike-focused lodge in Bella Vista, Arkansas, in October.
Named Campfire Ranch Little Sugar, the lodge is now accepting bookings and aims to serve as a hub for outdoor recreation and community engagement in Northwest Arkansas.
Originally announced in October 2024, the project involves transforming a historic inn designed by architect E. Fay Jones on the Blue Crane property. The redevelopment marks a notable investment in the region’s growing outdoor tourism economy, offering mid-century modern lodging paired with amenities tailored to outdoor enthusiasts.
According to a press release, the lodge includes seven individual rooms, each with a private bath. Visitors can reserve individual rooms or book the entire lodge for events such as corporate retreats or family gatherings.
The property features a shared cooking area, fire pits, sauna, cold plunge, indoor lounge, and gear storage.
Bike wash stations, grab-and-go snacks, and daily brewed coffee are also available to guests.
Campfire Ranch’s Adventure Concierge will help connect guests to local activities including mountain biking, hiking, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, and paddleboarding.
Campfire Ranch Little Sugar is the first commercial lodging facility in Bella Vista with direct access to the future Oz Trails Bike Park. Once complete, the park will feature 20 miles of lift-access gravity trails.
The property also provides access to the existing Little Sugar trail system, which includes 40 miles of purpose-built trails.
With its October launch, the lodge is positioned to accommodate participants and spectators of the Life Time Big Sugar Classic, scheduled for October 12–18. The event attracts mountain biking athletes and fans from across the country.
“With plans finalized and approved, we’re beyond excited to begin renovations and restore this incredible property. From the history of the property’s original E. Fay Jones design, to the vibrant outdoor culture of Northwest Arkansas, Campfire Ranch Little Sugar will be a celebration of everything that makes this place special,” said Tyler Morandi, director of property development at Campfire Ranch.
“We can’t wait to open our doors and welcome guests to experience it for themselves,” Morandi,” Morandi added.
