Natra Bintan, located within Treasure Bay Lagoon in Indonesia, has introduced a new package aimed at providing visitors with an immersive island experience. The Discover Bintan Island package, offered through the Tribute Portfolio brand, is designed to encourage guests to explore the island at a slower pace and engage with its natural landscapes.
The resort operates on a glamping model, featuring safari-style tented accommodations that combine outdoor living with modern amenities. This setup is designed to appeal to families and multi-generational groups, offering views of the lagoon, greenery, and wide open skies.
The resort emphasizes unplugged experiences and encourages guests to engage with nature while maintaining access to comfort and convenience.
Bintan Island, located a short ferry ride from Singapore and Johor Bahru, provides an environment distinct from urban destinations. The island features coastal waters, preserved landscapes, and cultural sites, which have positioned it as a preferred choice for short getaways, family vacations, corporate retreats, and outdoor-focused tourism.
According to Varnam Malaysia, the Discover Bintan Island package includes daily breakfast for two, a one-time Indonesian set dinner for two, a three-hour guided tour to the Blue Lake and Bintan Desert, and a 60-minute traditional massage.
The minimum stay is three days and two nights, allowing guests extended time to engage with the resort and the island. Evenings include a sunset experience by the lagoon and stargazing activities, while additional resort amenities offer both children and adults options for recreation, including water sports, nature trails, and open spaces.
The resort provides complimentary round-trip transfers from Bandar Bentan Telani Ferry Terminal and Lagoi Bay Beach. The Discover Bintan Island package is available for booking until 18 December 2026. Marriott Bonvoy members are eligible for special rates, up to 10% savings, and the opportunity to earn and redeem points during their stay.
For outdoor hospitality operators, Natra Bintan’s approach demonstrates a combination of experiential offerings, family-oriented design, and curated activities that can enhance guest satisfaction while encouraging longer stays.
The model highlights the potential for glamping resorts to integrate nature-based experiences, multi-generational appeal, and seamless guest logistics to differentiate themselves in a competitive market.
