A nine-space RV park, JUBILATIONS×Agro Garden Kobe, is scheduled to open September 4 on the rooftop of Agro Garden Kobe Komagabayashi, a commercial facility in Nagata Ward, Kobe, Japan. Reservations opened August 27, giving travelers the opportunity to book overnight vehicle stays at the urban site.
The RV park uses part of the facility’s rooftop parking area and provides power outlets at all nine spaces. The nightly rate is ¥4,400 per space, including tax, with stays limited to a maximum of six nights and seven days. Guests can also pay in advance by credit card when making a reservation.
On-site amenities include toilets, an outdoor sink and washing area, and waste disposal facilities intended to support guests staying in campers or using their vehicles for overnight accommodation. While the property is located in an urban commercial area, the rooftop setting provides guests with views across Kobe, including nighttime city views.
The addition of overnight vehicle accommodations is part of a broader mix of services already available at the property. The same site is home to Tennen Onsen Aguro no Yu, which offers 11 types of baths, including a natural hot spring and carbonated baths. The facility also has a dry sauna with automatic löyly and a herbal sauna.
For RV park operators, the site illustrates one approach to incorporating overnight vehicle stays into an existing commercial destination rather than developing a standalone campground. By combining parking, utilities, sanitation facilities, a hot spring, shopping, and pet services in one location, the property can potentially appeal to travelers looking to combine several activities during a short urban stay.
Pet travelers are also being considered as part of the offering, according to KissPress. Kuko Dog Center Nagata, located on the second floor of the facility, includes a pet shop and pet hotel. Guests traveling with dogs must follow on-site rules, including keeping dogs on a leash within the premises.
To coincide with the opening, a monitor campaign is scheduled for September 4, 5, 12, and 13. All nine spaces will be included each day, allowing participants to experience the rooftop accommodation and access to the site’s amenities. Additional information about the campaign is available through the official JUBILATIONS Instagram account.
The rooftop parking area will also host WANderful Agro on September 5, a dog-focused event featuring vendor booths, a toy market, a prize drawing, and a pet-pad packing challenge.
The opening gives the commercial facility another overnight-use component while connecting vehicle travelers with existing services. For outdoor hospitality businesses, the model highlights the potential of partnerships or co-location with complementary amenities such as hot springs, retail, food, and pet services to create additional reasons for guests to extend an urban road trip.
