Kampgrounds of America (KOA) has added Kimbolton/Rocky Fork Ranch KOA Holiday in Ohio to its network, expanding the KOA Family of Campgrounds through a property owned and operated by Travel Resorts of America.
The campground is located on more than 850 acres in southeastern Ohio and offers RV sites, tent camping and cabins, along with resort-style amenities.
Travel Resorts of America already owns two other KOA campgrounds.
“Joining the KOA family was a natural fit for us,” Steve Baldelli, owner of Travel Resorts of America and owner of Kimbolton/Rocky Fork Ranch KOA Holiday said.
“KOA has built an incredibly loyal community of campers, and we’re excited to welcome those guests to Rocky Fork Ranch. Our goal is to create a destination where families can spend several days, or even a week or more, making memories together while exploring everything this beautiful part of Ohio has to offer,” Baldelli added.
The property offers horseback riding, fishing, hiking trails, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a clubhouse, family recreation areas and seasonal organized activities.
The campground is designed to accommodate both longer stays and overnight visits.
The addition comes as KOA reports continued economic activity associated with camping. According to KOA’s annual Camping and Outdoor Hospitality Report, campers contributed $66 billion to local economies in 2025, with the average camper spending more than $200 per day while camping.
The report also found that campers are interested in experiencing the history and culture of local communities.
Thirty-three percent said they were interested in visiting small towns, while 38% were drawn to historic sites.
Kimbolton/Rocky Fork Ranch KOA Holiday is among more than 500 KOA campgrounds open to the public in the United States and Canada.
KOA’s campground portfolio includes KOA Journeys, which emphasize convenient locations and RV-friendly features, and KOA Resorts, which offer staff-led activities, on-site dining and group meeting space.
KOA Holiday campgrounds offer full-service RV sites with KOA Patio features and Deluxe Cabins with full bathrooms.
The Kimbolton property is located at 74978 Broadhead Road in Kimbolton, Ohio, and is open year-round. Reservations are available through the campground’s website, the KOA website and the KOA App, or by calling 740-498-4134.
