CONY to Host Campfire Connections Call on Campground Content Creation

The Campground Owners of New York (CONY) will host its monthly Campfire Connections membership call Tuesday, Aug. 25, with a discussion focused on how content creators can help campgrounds reach new audiences and strengthen their online presence.

The virtual session is scheduled for 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and will feature Amanda Cooper of Nomadic Influence.

Cooper will discuss how content creators are putting campgrounds on the map and expanding their reach to potential visitors.

The session also will address ways campground operators can create an authentic online presence to attract visitors and build community, according to CONY.

The Campfire Connections call comes as CONY also promotes early bird registration for its Fall Conference & Annual Meeting, with discounted member pricing available through Friday.

Registration for the CONY Fall Conference & Annual Meeting is $249 under the early bird rate. A combined registration covering the conference and the NCA Great Escape is $348.

Both registration options include a continental breakfast, lunch, coffee breaks, a reception, dinner, educational sessions, networking and supplier meetings.

The NCA Great Escape registration additionally includes a registration and welcome reception, breakfast, lunch and dinner, along with Lake George tours and sightseeing, the NCA Meeting, campground tours and networking opportunities.

The NCA Meeting is open to all campground operators.

The association is encouraging members to register before the early bird pricing deadline expires Friday.

The Campfire Connections call is part of CONY’s monthly membership programming and is intended to provide members with an opportunity to discuss campground-related topics and connect with other operators.
