GuideTime Expands Hospitality Platform to Help Lodging Operators Generate Revenue From Local Experiences

GuideTime is expanding its hospitality technology platform across the lodging industry, enabling hotels, resorts, RV parks, campgrounds and glamping destinations to offer bookable local experiences as a new source of revenue while outsourcing the operational management of those activities.

Its platform allows hospitality operators to integrate curated local experiences into their websites and guest communications, giving guests the ability to discover and reserve activities before and during their stay.

The offering comes as travelers increasingly seek destination-focused experiences, according to GuideTime.

Rather than relying on traditional concierge programs, GuideTime said it manages the full experience process, including sourcing and vetting experience providers, coordinating bookings, processing payments and handling guest communications.

The approach enables hospitality staff to focus on guest service without taking on additional administrative responsibilities tied to activity bookings.

GuideTime currently works with hospitality groups, resorts, lodges, RV resorts, campgrounds and destination organizations throughout the United States.

Through the platform, guests can book a range of activities, including outdoor adventures, guided tours, recreational experiences, wellness offerings and other locally curated attractions.

“Travelers increasingly want experiences that connect them to the destinations they visit,” said Sam Jankovich, co-founder and CEO of GuideTime.

“Our mission is to help hospitality operators enhance guest engagement while creating meaningful new revenue opportunities through curated experiences,” Jankovich added.

According to the company, the platform is designed to create ancillary revenue opportunities for participating properties while improving guest satisfaction and helping operators differentiate their offerings in a competitive lodging market.

Properties can generate revenue from guest activity bookings without adding staffing requirements.

Beyond its hospitality platform, GuideTime said it is continuing to expand technology infrastructure connecting lodging operators with experience providers, guides, outfitters and destination organizations through a unified ecosystem.

The company said the network supports thousands of bookable experiences and continues to grow through partnerships with outdoor recreation and tourism organizations nationwide.
