Senior economist Ian Wyatt of Huntington Bank will present an economic outlook for 2027 during an educational session at the 2026 RV Dealers Convention/Expo, where he is expected to discuss consumer sentiment, interest rates and broader economic trends affecting RV dealerships.
The session, titled “Maintaining the Economic Momentum for Our Business,” is scheduled from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 10, as part of the dealer/general manager education track.
The presentation is intended to help dealerships interpret economic indicators following what they described as three difficult years for the industry.
Wyatt, who specializes in commercial lending, macroeconomic forecasting and industry-specific analysis at Huntington Bank, will examine economic conditions that could influence dealership operations and business planning in 2027.
According to the event organizers, Wyatt will provide attendees with a better understanding of short- and long-term interest rates, along with other developments affecting consumer and commercial lending markets.
The presentation also will examine the broader macroeconomic environment from multiple perspectives while outlining the economic outlook for 2027. In addition, Wyatt will discuss trends in consumer spending and purchasing behavior that could affect dealership performance.
The educational session is part of the 2026 RV Dealers Convention/Expo, which is scheduled for Nov. 9-13 at Paris Las Vegas.
The event is sponsored by the RV Dealers Association of the United States, the RV Dealers Association of Canada and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center.
According to organizers, the annual convention is designed to bring together dealership professionals from across North America for educational programming, networking opportunities and an industry trade show.
The event also provides attendees with access to resources aimed at improving operations across multiple dealership departments, including fixed operations.
The convention will feature educational sessions focused on current business conditions and dealership management while providing opportunities for attendees to connect with industry leaders, peers and business partners through the Expo.
