Olympia Auto Sales and RV Expands Regional Footprint With New Aberdeen Location

Olympia Auto Sales and RV officially celebrated the grand opening of its second location at 2508 Sumner Avenue in Aberdeen on Saturday with a ribbon-cutting ceremony hosted by Greater Grays Harbor, Inc.. Marty Clark, the owner of the dealership, and his wife Jessica spent approximately one year preparing the former CenturyTel facility for this expansion.

Clark specifically targeted the busy Sumner Avenue property, noting that “it was the only location that I wanted to make this happen”, according to a news article by The Daily World.

The owner emphasized his commitment to being a “vested member” of the community by purchasing and remodeling the property to create a vibrant dealership atmosphere.

The new facility features significant covered areas, which Clark identified as a benefit for customers viewing vehicles during inclement weather.

This expansion follows the success of the original dealership in Rochester, which drew a high volume of customers from the Aberdeen and Grays Harbor areas.

“We had so many customers coming from Aberdeen and Grays Harbor that it just seemed natural to come this way,” Clark said of the decision to expand.

General Manager Bryan Johnson, a Hoquiam alumnus, will oversee approximately 140 used vehicles rotated between the two locations.

The dealership also includes a full-service automotive shop that will handle inspections and repairs while eventually opening to the general public. A staff of about 12 employees will operate the two dealerships with a primary focus on customer service.

Clark attributed the success of his first dealership to a determination to make the customer experience a top priority. “If you consistently do that, word travels fast,” Clark said, adding that the team intends to maintain that reputation.

The company currently maintains a 4.7 out of 5 rating from Kelley Blue Book and an A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau. Customers can access the inventory through the company website at autosinolympia.com.

Operating hours for both locations are 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sundays.

The grand opening event featured community giveaways, including free apparel and drawings for electronics and concert tickets.

The expansion of established dealerships like Olympia Auto Sales and RV into new territories highlights a growing demand for accessible sales and service hubs within the RV industry.

This move signals the importance of strategic physical locations and integrated service departments in capturing regional market share and fostering long-term customer loyalty.
