Bish’s RV is set to open a new dealership in the Rapid City area this March, expanding RV sales, service, and support in western South Dakota.
The Idaho-based retailer will take over the former Jack’s Campers site in Piedmont, serving Rapid City, the Black Hills, and surrounding communities as part of its continued regional growth.
The new dealership will carry a variety of RV brands, including Jayco, Winnebago, and Bish’s RV’s exclusive Wayfinder line.
Designed as a full-service operation, the location will provide sales, parts, service, and customer support, aiming to meet the needs of the region’s established RV ownership community.
“Rapid City is a natural fit for Bish’s RV,” Todd Nuttall, president of Bish’s RV, said, as reported by Rapid Business Journal. “This region has a strong and established RV ownership community, and we know how important reliable sales, service, and parts support are for RV owners who live here.”
“We’re excited to bring a dedicated Bish’s RV location to the area, serving local customers while becoming an active part of the community,” Nuttall added.
The Piedmont dealership will also create multiple job opportunities as the company emphasizes local hiring.
Open positions include sales associates, a service manager, RV technicians, detail team members, forklift operators, parts associates, and service advisors.
The Rapid City-area expansion reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to community involvement, customer service, and growth throughout South Dakota and the Black Hills region.
According to its website, Bish’s RV positions itself as a one-stop destination for RV sales, service and parts, serving customers through stores across Idaho, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Montana, Nebraska, Oregon, Texas, Wyoming and Utah.
The dealership carries a wide selection of RV types, including travel trailers, motorhomes, fifth wheels, camper vans and toy haulers.
Service after the sale is a key focus for Bish’s RV, with each unit undergoing a pre-delivery inspection by trained and certified RV technicians.
Customers also receive a delivery walkthrough with an RV technician to help them understand the coach’s features and functions.
