RMS Pay Achieves Milestone of Over €1 Billion in Transactions One Year After Launch

RMS, a global hospitality platform, announced that its fully integrated payment solution, RMS Pay, has processed more than €1 billion in transactions just one year after its worldwide launch.

The milestone highlights a growing shift in the industry toward automated payments that meet guest expectations for speed, convenience and flexibility, particularly with the rise of digital wallets and “Buy Now, Pay Later” options.

RMS Pay is embedded within the RMS property management system, automating the entire payment process from secure pre-authorisations and scheduled charges to reconciliation, reporting and dispute resolution. The integration eliminates manual steps for staff while providing a “frictionless experience” for guests.

According to a press release, operators using RMS Pay report faster cash flow, reduced no-shows and a 99.95% dispute-free rate.

At Woodgate Beach Houses, automation has cut weekly payment reconciliation time by more than 10 hours. Roomzzz Aparthotels has experienced similar improvements.

Victoria Curley, head of commercial at Roomzzz Aparthotels, said, “With RMS Pay, we don’t have to worry about night shift balancing or end-of-day checks, it just works. What used to take our team an hour is now automatic.”

The platform enables hotels, motels, parks, serviced apartments and short-term rentals to accept both card-present and eCommerce payments within minutes of onboarding, without additional setup or technical work.

Popular features such as Pay by Link, Charge to Room and upcoming scheduled payment options cater to digitally fluent travelers who prioritize flexibility and convenience.

Adam Seskis, CEO of RMS, emphasized the role of payments in the guest experience.

“Guests expect fast, flexible, and secure payment options, and if those expectations aren’t met, they’ll go elsewhere. With RMS Pay, we’re creating a platform that helps operators stay ahead of these expectations, reduce fraud, operational friction and deliver a smoother, more personalised experience from the very first interaction,” Seskis said.

RMS Pay is PCI DSS-certified and uses tokenized data storage to protect guest information. Its built-in fraud monitoring, dispute resolution tools and consolidated reporting allow operators to manage all payments securely from a single dashboard, streamlining operations and enhancing guest satisfaction.
