Equestrian Campground Opening at Governor Dodge State Park Next Week

A new equestrian campground will be opening at Governor Dodge State Park (Wisconsin) next week.

As per a report, the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources announced the new site on Tuesday.

It will open on April 29 with over 25 miles of equestrian trails.

The new campground has 20 sites, including 18 with electric hook-ups, and each site will come with a high-line hitching post, a picnic table, and a fire ring. The equestrian trail and campground will be open from May 1 until November 15.

Reservations can be made via the Wisconsin State Park System. It is mandatory to have a trail pass for equestrian riders ages 16 and above.

The new campground was made possible through the funding of The Friends of Governor Dodge State Park—Equestrians.
