Love’s Travel Stops has unveiled its first travel stop of 2025 in Elliston, Virginia, strategically designed to cater to the growing number of RV travelers along Interstate 81.
The new location offers six RV hookups, additional parking, and a range of amenities tailored for RVers, enhancing convenience for those on long journeys or visiting nearby destinations like Claytor Lake State Park.
According to a press release, the new travel stop also includes 93 truck parking spaces, a variety of dining options, and other amenities designed to enhance the experience for those traveling along I-81.
This location caters not only to long-haul truck drivers but also to four-wheel customers and RVers, offering six RV hookups, an RV dump, and private showers.
Food offerings at the new Elliston location include Love’s Fresh Kitchen, Arby’s, and the area’s first Dunkin’ Donuts, providing a mix of quick meals and popular chain options. The store spans more than 15,000 square feet.
In addition to these practical services, the Elliston travel stop offers nine diesel bays, seven showers, laundry facilities, and a CAT Scale for truckers to weigh their rigs.
The location also includes 68 car parking spaces, enhancing its accessibility to different types of travelers. The dog park provides a space for pets to stretch their legs.
Love’s also prioritized the local community in the grand opening celebrations by donating $2,500 each to Shawsville Middle School and Eastern Montgomery Elementary School.
These contributions highlight Love’s ongoing commitment to supporting the areas where it operates.
