The Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort near Zion National Park is offering families in Utah and Southern Nevada a new destination for Halloween festivities and outdoor adventures. This resort combines luxury glamping and traditional camping experiences against a scenic mountain backdrop.
Jellystone Park Zion is preparing for four Halloween-themed weekends, each featuring a mix of spooky and family-friendly activities. Scott Nielson, the local entrepreneur behind the park’s development, emphasized the importance of family bonding through these events.

“As the father of several kids, I know how important it is for families to spend time and have fun together. There is no other place like Jellystone Park in Utah or Nevada, making it the perfect spot for fall school breaks and getaways,” Nielson stated in a press release.
The park features a Yogi Bear Water Zone with giant water slides, a plunge bowl, a lazy river, and other aquatic attractions. These popular water features, including the floating obstacle course, will allow guests to enjoy water-based activities alongside the Halloween celebrations.
“Guests can trick-or-treat with the Yogi Bear characters, grow magic pumpkins, enter costume contests, and enjoy dance parties with monsters and zombies,” the press release indicated.
Jellystone Park Zion also offers various accommodation options to suit different preferences, including fully equipped luxury glamping cabins and deluxe RV sites. For day visitors, the park provides day passes to enjoy the resort’s attractions and daycation pods equipped with modern amenities.
Located in Hurricane, Utah, the resort is 30 minutes from Zion National Park, two hours north of Las Vegas and four hours south of Salt Lake City. This position allows families to combine their stay with explorations of Zion’s natural wonders.
