Fresno, California-based custom campervan builder Field Van is expanding its footprint beyond California and Nevada through a new partnership in Utah, marking the company’s first-ever external dealer collaboration.
According to a press release, the family-owned van builder has teamed up with Mercedes-Benz Van Center – Warner in West Valley City to introduce its custom adventure vans to the Mountain West, a region known for year-round outdoor recreation and overland travel.
The move represents a significant milestone for Field Van as it works to make its products more accessible to customers outside its traditional home markets.
The expansion is being anchored by the launch of the all-new SHYFT camper van, which is now available through Warner Vans Utah.
Built on a 2500 x 144-inch low-roof all-wheel-drive Mercedes Sprinter, with high-roof Sprinters also offered, SHYFT is designed to balance daily usability with adventure-focused versatility.
The van features seating for seven, sleeping accommodations for up to five people, and a Sliding Bench Seat System that allows the interior layout to change quickly.
This flexibility enables owners to prioritize open living space, family seating, or an interior gear garage capable of carrying bikes, boards, skis, or even a dirt bike.
“Launching the SHYFT through Warner Vans Utah is a major milestone for Field Van,” said Jonny Feld, President of Field Van.

“The Mountain West is built for adventure, and SHYFT was designed to adapt to the way families and individual explorers use their vans for many different applications, whether that’s daily driving, weekend trips or extended travel,” Jonny added.
The SHYFT model is FMVSS-tested and approved, with integrated shoulder harnesses and child seat latches to support family travel.
Available features include the latest Mercedes electronic and safety packages, swivel front seats, a galley equipped with a refrigerator and induction cooktop, and a Timberline diesel heating and water system.
The van also includes a pop-top that provides additional sleeping space, ventilation, and panoramic views, further enhancing its appeal for extended outdoor trips.
The Field Van SHYFT is now available at Mercedes-Benz Van Center – Warner in West Valley City, Utah, positioning the brand closer to some of the most sought-after outdoor destinations in the western United States.
