Campgrounds at Jordanelle State Park Remain Open Until October 31

Campgrounds at Jordanelle State Park in Wasatch County, Utah, will still welcome visitors until the end of October, providing an opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts to enjoy the fall season. Visitors planning to camp at Jordanelle State Park are reminded to make reservations at least two days in advance.

The park features various camping options, including the McHenry tent-only campground, the serene Keetley hike-in campground, and the Keetley Group Campsite, catering to diverse outdoor enthusiasts seeking a retreat.

According to an article published by Two Lift Park City News, campground prices range from $35 for hike-in camping to $175 for a weekend cabin. The park offers affordable accommodations for a memorable fall getaway, and operations continue until October 31.

The park, located along the shores of Jordanelle Reservoir, features three distinct recreation areas: Hailstone, Rock Cliff, and Ross Creek. Each area provides an array of activities, from picnicking and camping to boating, fishing, and hiking, making it an ideal destination for families and adventurers alike.

Jordanelle State Park offers a range of camping facilities catering to various preferences. Hailstone Campground boasts 103 RV campsites, each equipped with partial hookups, fire pits, BBQ grills, and picnic tables. Visitors will find restroom facilities with hot showers and flush toilets, along with laundry services available at Murdock Camp Services.

A dump station is also conveniently located on the west side of the campground. Families can enjoy the playground situated in the Lower Fisher loop.

For tent campers, the McHenry Campground offers four loops designed for a more rustic experience. Each loop features bathrooms with showers and strategically placed water spigots, along with a playground located in the McHenry D loop. Notably, RVs and trailers are not allowed in the McHenry loops.

For those seeking solitude, the Keetley Campground serves as a hike-in facility, providing a more secluded experience for tent campers. While some sites are available for reservation, the majority operate on a first-come, first-served basis. Shower facilities can be found in the main campground at Murdock Camp Services, with the same check-in and check-out times as the other campgrounds.
