RV Technical Institute, Truma Extend Training Partnership With 2026 Courses in Elkhart

The RV Technical Institute (RVTI) and Truma are continuing their training partnership in 2026, offering a series of full product training sessions scheduled throughout the year at the Institute’s campus in Elkhart, Indiana, focused on RV heating, water, and cooling systems, according to the announcement.

The sessions cover heating, combination heating and water, hydronic heating, on-demand water heating, and cooling, and are designed to strengthen technical expertise across multiple RV appliance systems used in recreational vehicles as part of the training curriculum.

Participation is complimentary, and no prerequisite is required to attend; however, technicians seeking to apply the hours toward a Level 3 Appliance Specialty must already hold Level 1 and Level 2 certifications under the program requirements.

Each course is structured as a two-day program and fulfills 16 Continuing Education Credits through the RVTI, while also meeting Truma’s internal training requirements in a continuing education format.

The partnership continues an initiative first launched last year aimed at improving technician training and enhancing the overall RVing experience.

Sessions will be held at the RVTI headquarters at 3333 Middlebury Street in Elkhart, Indiana, on scheduled dates throughout 2026 at the campus facility in Elkhart, Indiana.

According to the announcement, the 2026 schedule includes March 17–18, April 14–15, June 30–July 1, August 11–12, October 20–21, November 17–18, and December 15–16 at the RV Technical Institute headquarters.

Registration is available through Truma at any time using an online link provided by Truma, which is also listed on the RVTI’s store through Truma registration system.

In addition to the institute-based sessions, Truma will host three full product training courses at its Elkhart, Indiana headquarters facility at 2800 Harman Drive.

These sessions are scheduled for February 10–11, April 28–30, and September 29–October 1, and cover the same range of RV systems used in training at Truma headquarters facility.
