The Society of Certified RV Professionals, the RV Technical Institute (RVTI), and the Mike Molino RV Learning Center have announced that March 2-8 will be designated as RV Fixed Operations Certification Week.
The initiative aims to highlight the importance of certified professionals working in RV service, parts, and warranty administration. The week-long event celebrates those who contribute to the quality and efficiency of RV operations, while promoting further education and training opportunities.
During this week, RV fixed operations professionals can pursue certifications in various roles, including parts managers, parts specialists, service writers/advisors, service managers, and warranty administrators.
These certifications are offered through the RV Learning Center’s parts and service management certification programs, which are designed to help industry professionals maintain up-to-date skills and knowledge.
RVTI provides training and certification programs for RV technicians at different levels, including Level 1, Level 2, Level 3, and Level 4. These programs are available both online and through live classes held at the RVTI training center in Elkhart, Indiana, as well as at Authorized Learning Partners across the country.
For professionals who earn a new certification during RV Fixed Operations Certification Week, the RV Learning Center offers a one-year subscription to the RV Fixed Operations Today website, valued at $39.95.
Curt Hemmeler, executive director of RVTI and senior vice president of the RV Industry Association (RVIA), emphasized the significance of the event, saying, “RV Fixed Operations Certification Week is a chance to celebrate the expertise of our certified professionals and inspire others to invest in their careers. These certifications demonstrate a commitment to excellence and are essential for providing top-tier service to RV owners.”
Phil Ingrassia, president of RVDA, also underscored the value of the programs, stating, “The constantly evolving curriculum from the RV Learning Center and RVTI ensures that fixed operations professionals receive the most up-to-date and relevant training. These programs are a crucial investment in the future of our industry.”
RVTI aims to alleviate the ongoing shortage of trained RV technicians and reduce repair cycle times by providing training.
The Society of Certified RV Professionals also plays an integral role in advancing the careers of RV professionals by offering scholarships to long-certified individuals who wish to attend the educational sessions held annually at the RV Dealers Convention/Expo.
