Spring is here, bringing the warm summer days just in time as several Rhode Island campgrounds opened last Friday.
According to a report, campers can now reserve campsites at Burlingame, Charlestown Breachway, Fishermen’s Memorial, and George Washington Memorial State campgrounds, offering a unique opportunity to explore and experience the state’s natural beauty.
Campsites feature various amenities, from tent sites to hookups for RVs and campers.
The official opening is just a day before the beginning of trout fishing season in Rhode Islanders.
Anglers aged 15 and above must have a valid 2022 license and a trout conservation stamp to keep a trout or fish in a catch-and-release or fly-fishing-only areas.
