La-Z Acres Campground is set to host the Kuntry Jam festival. The three-day musical festival, starting this Thursday, July 25, promises a lineup of performances for attendees.
Attendees will have access to a variety of food options, with three food trucks and an ice cream truck on site. Guests are also welcome to bring their own coolers and lawn chairs, adding to the comfortable feel of the campground.
The Family Tradition Band will set the stage at 8:30 p.m. on opening night, marking the beginning of a weekend filled with country music. La-Z Acres Campground, under the ownership of Gale Kirkbride, has transformed into a venue for such events.
“Our venue is perfect for it. Lots of friendly people, the bands are outstanding, my sound and light guy, the productions just perfect. The video wall, the line arrays, the sound, it’s just perfect,” Kirkbride said, as reported by Whiz News on July 24.
The festival’s lineup features an array of talent, including North to Nashville and Rodney Atkins. The highlight of the event will be Chris Janson’s performance, which will close out Kuntry Jam.
Kirkbride, having witnessed Janson’s performances before, is particularly excited about this final act. “I’ve seen him before. He’s a great entertainer, just puts on a great concert. He doesn’t just sing his songs, he jumps around, sings other peoples songs. Maybe he’s had something to do with writing them or friends or whatever. He just puts on a great show. He involves everybody,” Kirkbride shared.
La-Z Acres Campground offers a variety of camping options, including camper spots, tent sites with hookups, and primitive tent sites. Nestled in the scenic hills of eastern Ohio near Zanesville, La-Z Acres is a fun and family-friendly destination conveniently located less than an hour east of Columbus, Ohio, off State Route 146, and just minutes from State Route 16. Guests can enjoy the general store, restaurant, concert stage, theater, and clubhouse for events.
