The OHI Foundation has opened scholarship applications for the 2026 Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE) earlier than in previous years, aiming to give outdoor hospitality professionals additional time to plan and budget for attendance.
The earlier launch is intended to improve access to the industry’s flagship event by allowing prospective attendees to secure financial support ahead of travel planning deadlines. The scholarship program targets owners, operators, staff, and newcomers who may face financial barriers to participating in the conference.
Each scholarship covers the cost of a full conference registration for OHCE 2026, while recipients are responsible for their own travel expenses. Preference is given to first-time attendees, according to the OHI Foundation.
Applications are due April 20. Recipients are expected to be notified during the week of June 9.
“The more the merrier when it comes to OHCE,” the OHI Foundation said. “These scholarships help ensure that more voices from across the outdoor hospitality industry can participate in the learning, networking, and collaboration that make this event so valuable.”
The Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo is scheduled to take place November 9–11, in Fort Worth, Texas. The event is positioned as a central gathering for professionals in the outdoor hospitality sector, offering opportunities for education, networking, and business development.
According to the OHI Foundation, the conference will feature sessions led by industry experts, as well as an expo floor showcasing products and services relevant to campground and RV park operations.
“Attendees can learn from industry-leading experts, build relationships with peers, discover new products and services on the expo floor, and gain practical insights to strengthen their businesses,” the press release indicates.
The scholarship initiative is supported by the OHI Foundation as part of its efforts to broaden participation across the industry and increase representation at the annual event.
