A new RV park in eastern North Carolina celebrated its grand opening with a ribbon-cutting event on May 18. The Lakes RV & Cabin Resort, located at 100 Lakes Boulevard in Maysville, offers an array of amenities and facilities. Phase 1 construction will be fully completed by mid to late June.
Situated 20 miles from Emerald Isle and the beaches of the Crystal Coast, The Lakes RV & Cabin Resort is near three lakes – Misty Morning, Cypress, and White Oak. Visitors can wake up to panoramic views of lakes, with opportunities to stroll along the shores, fish, boat, and swim in pristine fresh water.

They also have showers and bathrooms, private bedrooms, with some cabins offering lofts, and living rooms with smart TVs and sleeper couches. Outdoor amenities are covered porches with tables and chairs, spacious sites with parking for two cars, picnic tables, charcoal BBQ grills, and custom “low smoke” fire rings. For the RV park’s bathhouses, the amenities feature air-conditioned and tile appointments, hot showers, and coinless laundry facilities.
