Carolinas Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (CARVC) announced its Spring Regional Meeting, scheduled for Tuesday, 16 April, from 4:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (EDT) in North Carolina. This meeting follows the CARVC Board Meeting, which is set to occur earlier the same day, from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

The agenda for the day is comprehensive, beginning with an introduction to the CARVC Board of Directors. Following this, Executive Director Dee Witting will provide an update on CARVC’s activities and introduce new membership benefits slated for 2025. The financial health of the organization and changes to the membership structure for 2025 will be discussed by Board Treasurer Lisa Butler.

Updates on the 2024 and 2025 conferences will be shared, highlighting the association’s planning. Dee Yasgar will provide information on upcoming educational webinars, a key component of CARVC’s commitment to continuous learning and member support. Legislative updates will be presented by Chair Michael Hobby, offering insights into advocacy efforts and regulatory changes affecting the RV park and campground industry.

A Q&A session will conclude the meeting, providing an opportunity for members to seek clarification and further information on discussed topics.

CARVC’s mission is to support RV parks and campgrounds in North and South Carolina by promoting high operational standards and quality customer service. Membership is open to any publicly licensed RV park or campground in these states.

The association emphasizes the importance of supporting supplier members, and businesses that offer products and services to the industry, recognizing their contribution to the camping and RV park sector.

The benefits of CARVC membership include access to a range of services designed to foster business growth. Additionally, membership affords credibility within the industry, connecting businesses with a network of over 140 campground and RV park members in North and South Carolina and extending to over 3,000 members nationwide.
