Yogi Bear’s Binghamton Jellystone Park Unveils Haunted Campground Experience This Fall

As the autumn leaves begin to fall and the scent of pumpkin spice fills the air, Yogi Bear’s Binghamton Jellystone Park in Endicott (New York) is gearing up to introduce a spine-chilling attraction – a haunted campground section.

This innovative addition to the park is not just a fleeting idea but a well-thought-out venture. The haunted trail promises a thrilling experience for adventure seekers.

Binghamton Jellystone Park’s haunted trail is set to commence with Mad Science weekend from September 29 to October 1. Following this intriguing start, the haunted campground will be in full swing, ready to send shivers down the spines of its visitors.

But the park isn’t just about scares. Moriah Abbott, the park’s general manager, is brimming with excitement for the upcoming season.

“We’re super excited about this year,” Abbott told WBNG. “It’s our first year having our haunted trail. We’re calling it haunted campground and it’s just one section of our camp so the rest of the camp is super fun and family-friendly but we will have this one section that is a little on the scarier side.”

She mentions a game called Apple Smash, where participants can fling apples using giant slingshots, and a magical pumpkin patch hayride, ensuring that there’s something for everyone.

For those brave souls willing to be a part of the scare team, the park is on the lookout for volunteers. It’s an opportunity to be a part of something unique, to bring the haunted trail to life.

The park’s offerings aren’t limited to the haunted section. With a plethora of activities ranging from swimming in a 6-acre lake to mini-golf and live evening entertainment, Binghamton Jellystone Park ensures every visitor has a memorable experience.

Accommodations at the park are diverse, catering to every kind of camper. Whether you’re looking to stay in a yurt, a glamping tent, or an RV, the park has got you covered.

As the season progresses, the park is offering a Fall Awesome Pass, a ticket to all the fun activities at a discounted rate. It’s a testament to the park’s commitment to providing value to its visitors.

Whether you’re seeking a thrill in the haunted campground or looking for a serene escape amidst nature, the park promises an experience like no other.
