Modern America Campgrounds has announced the acquisition of King Phillip’s Campground, a 220-site facility in Lake George, New York.
This latest addition to the company’s portfolio marks its 30th park acquisition in the past two years. Known for its proximity to Lake George, King Phillip’s Campground is a notable asset in the company’s strategic expansion within the Northeast.
“We are thrilled to welcome King Phillip’s to the Modern America Campgrounds family,” said Hunter Vazza, the company’s representative.
“It is an amazing property, and we intend to expand the park by an additional 70 sites.” This acquisition aligns with the company’s growth strategy as it broadens its reach toward the Mid-Atlantic and enhances the range of camping options available to its guests.
Modern America Campgrounds has implemented a series of programs to elevate the experience of its seasonal members and transient guests.
A notable feature is the complimentary access provided to seasonal pass holders at other company-owned parks on a limited basis.
“We encourage our seasonal members to visit our other parks,” Vazza stated in a press release, highlighting destinations such as Bar Harbor Campground with its ocean views, Eastern Slope along the Saco River in New Hampshire, and Camping on the Battenkill in Vermont.
The company has also introduced the Freedom Trail Pass, allowing campers to explore all its properties with minimal restrictions during peak season. This initiative is part of an effort to provide greater flexibility and convenience to outdoor enthusiasts.
Looking ahead, Modern America Campgrounds plans to expand its portfolio to 33 parks by the next season, with three additional acquisitions in progress.
The company also intends to launch a Loyalty Rewards Program in 2025, aimed at transient campers. This program will offer discounted rates and free stays as a token of appreciation for guest loyalty.
Modern America Campgrounds, the largest RV park owner in the Northeast, continues to emphasize innovation, guest satisfaction, and value as core components of its approach to outdoor hospitality.
