Campground Owners of New York (CONY), a trade association for independent campgrounds in New York State, has tied up with RVshare in an affiliate marketing agreement to help bring awareness to New York-based campgrounds and help both RV owners and renters book those campgrounds.
Donald Bennett, Jr., CONY’s President & CEO, was inspired to develop a partnership with RVshare after the success of the recently concluded campers choice awards, The Campies.
Senior Vice President of Marketing Martijn Scheijbeler said that RVshare’s Campground Partnership Program had been a rewarding outlet for the brand to continue expanding its network and develop relationships with trusted partners, such as the Campground Owners of New York.
The partnership features cross-promotion on each RVshare and CONY’s consumer websites, promoting individual campgrounds on various RVshare landing pages, and more. CONY would also provide RVshare with trackable promotion on its digital platforms, including websites, e-news blasts, social media, and apps.
“We’re always thinking about how to find and develop new customers in the outdoor hospitality industry,” Bennett said.
“Seeing the upward trend in travelers using RV delivery services and onsite rentals to access the outdoors is just one of the reasons we think it makes sense to partner with a company like RVshare that is, no pun intended, driving that trend.”
Steve Manes, Senior Marketing Partnerships Manager, and leader of the Campground Partnership Program, highlighted that with almost 200 campground partners to date, RVshare continuously builds a network of partners that are helping streamline the booking process for travelers while also promoting campgrounds to a network of renters
Manes said they are continuously working to increase their network of campgrounds and strengthen existing relationships by providing increased visibility and exposure to partners.
