Jellystone Park Lakes Region announced the creation of a new yard area for family fun, showcasing their resilience after a devastating fire in March destroyed the beloved Ranger Station camp store. The park relocated the Ranger Station and transformed the affected area into a recreational space.
The fire, which struck in early March, caused significant damage to the camp store. The yard area is designed to offer a range of activities for campers of all ages. It features cornhole boards, ping pong tables, a bubble station, hammocking areas, a community fire pit, picnic spots, shuffleboard, and giant chess. This new addition promises to enhance the overall camping experience.
Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Lakes Region highlighted the introduction of a new yard game area. “Something exciting is coming to Jellystone Park™ Lakes Region, take a look at our new yard game area. We are hoping to have many of the amenities completed throughout the summer but will have a completion date at a later time,” the park indicated in a Facebook post.
According to a press release, the New Hampshire campground demonstrates perseverance amid adversity, providing a fresh experience for campers looking for both excitement and relaxation.
Open from May 17 to October 20, with peak season from June 14 to September 2, Jellystone Park offers a camping experience filled with activities and a welcoming community.
Set in a picturesque location, Jellystone Park Lakes Region offers short-term and seasonal campsites, as well as glamping rentals for those new to camping or without an RV.
Campers at Jellystone Park can enjoy a variety of attractions, including an activity pool, mini-golf course, jumping pillow, and playground. During the non-peak season, the availability of these attractions is reduced.
The New Hampshire campground also showcases an array of recreational activities suitable for all ages. Among the highlights are the expansive activity pool, spa tubs, cabanas equipped with patio furniture, a mini-fridge, and a smart TV.
In addition to water activities and yard games, the campground features unique attractions like gem mining and a custom basketball court for sports enthusiasts. Walking trails, two sandy beaches, and arts and crafts add to the variety of activities available.
Other recreational options include mini-golf, a jumping pillow, laser tag, scavenger hunts, and traditional games like volleyball and tennis.
