Jellystone Park Lakes Region to Open Expanded Water Zone in 2025

Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort: Lakes Region in Milton, New Hampshire, has revealed plans for a significant expansion to open in 2025. The family-friendly campground, located just north of Boston, will introduce a 30,000-square-foot water zone, enhancing its offerings for guests.

The new water park will feature a multi-level playground with waterslides, water blasters, cannons, a splash pad, and a 750-gallon hydrostorm dump bucket.

In addition to the water zone, the park is rebuilding a recreational space following the loss of the Ranger Station due to a fire earlier in the year. The new space will include yard games such as cornhole, ping pong, and shuffleboard alongside a giant chess set, a bubble station, hammocking areas, picnic spots, and a community fire pit.

The campground’s current activity pool, which spans 6,095 square feet, will continue to serve guests alongside the new water zone. The expansion aims to enhance the guest experience, especially for families seeking active recreational options.

Adam VanVught, the general manager of Jellystone Park Lakes Region, expressed his enthusiasm for the expansion. “We’re thrilled to introduce these new attractions, which will bring even more excitement to our family-friendly camp-resort,” he said. The new water zone will be available to all guests at no additional charge and is scheduled to open just in time for the 2025 summer season, on Memorial Day Weekend.

Another aspect of the park is its variety of accommodation options. According to its website, guests can enjoy RV camping with various size options to suit all preferences. Whether seeking a back-in or pull-thru spot, the park provides RV sites with full hookups, including water, electric, and sewer connections, along with a picnic table and fire ring.

The premium pull-thru RV sites are ideal for RV enthusiasts with larger vehicles. These sites accommodate big rigs and come with 30-amp and 50-amp electric options and cable TV access. Each site includes a picnic table and fire pit. These pet-friendly sites also ensure that even furry family members can join in on the fun.

Additionally, for those seeking a cozier, more traditional camping experience, the White Pine Cabins offer a rustic retreat with modern conveniences. These cabins come equipped with air conditioning, heating, and a full kitchen, including an oven and microwave.

Outside, guests can enjoy a picnic table, fire ring, and charcoal grill, making these cabins an ideal choice for a peaceful and comfortable stay.
