Dragonfly Energy Highlights Lithium Battery Advancements at Rho Motion Seminar

Dragonfly Energy Holdings Corp.‘s Director of Research and Development, Dr. Vickrum “Vick” Singh, participated in a panel discussion at the Rho Motion Seminar Series in New York last month.

Joined by experts from the energy storage, EV (electric vehicles), charging infrastructure, lithium battery recycling, and battery materials markets, Singh highlighted Dragonfly Energy’s patented cell manufacturing technology in the lithium battery storage sector.

During the event, Singh discussed the various stages of lithium battery cell production and emphasized how Dragonfly Energy’s manufacturing solution leads to a cleaner, more cost-effective process with a smaller manufacturing footprint compared to traditional methods.

With over 10 years of experience in various research functions within private and public firms, Singh has been instrumental in overseeing the development of next-generation lithium-ion batteries and manufacturing processes at Dragonfly Energy.

His expertise in chemical engineering and materials science allows him to build and lead a highly skilled, dedicated team of scientists and engineers across various disciplines.

Prior to joining Dragonfly Energy, Singh served as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory’s Center for Global Security Research. His research focused on international nuclear energy development and its impact on nonproliferation policy.

He has published and presented multiple scientific reports on electrochemical techniques and their measurement uncertainties. Singh also served as a Nuclear Regulatory Commission Fellow during his Ph.D. studies at the University of Nevada, Reno.

Rho Motion, an industry leader in forecasting and analyzing the EV market and its related sectors, holds in-person events and programming to provide in-depth insights into the industry’s challenges and opportunities.

According to a press release, the next event is scheduled for September 6-7, 2023, in Gothenburg, Sweden. For more information on Dragonfly Energy, visit DragonflyEnergy.com/investors.

Dragonfly Energy, headquartered in Reno, Nevada, is a leading supplier of deep-cycle lithium-ion batteries. The company’s research and development initiatives are revolutionizing the energy storage industry through innovative technologies and manufacturing processes.

Today, Dragonfly Energy’s non-toxic deep-cycle lithium-ion batteries are displacing lead-acid batteries across various end-markets, including RVs, marine vessels, off-grid installations, and other storage applications.

The company is also focused on delivering an energy storage solution to enable a more sustainable and reliable smart grid through the future deployment of its proprietary and patented solid-state cell technology.

The advancements in lithium battery technology, as discussed by Singh at the Rho Motion Seminar Series, hold significant potential for the RV industry. As the demand for eco-friendly and energy-efficient recreational vehicles continues to grow, the adoption of innovative lithium-ion batteries will play a crucial role in meeting consumers’ expectations.

These batteries offer a more sustainable, lightweight, and longer-lasting energy storage solution compared to traditional lead-acid batteries, ultimately improving the overall RV experience.

Additionally, the development of solid-state cell technology by companies like Dragonfly Energy could further revolutionize the RV industry by offering even more efficient energy storage solutions, paving the way for a greener and more sustainable future for outdoor enthusiasts.
