The Jenkins Organization has acquired the Yogi Bear’s Jellystone Park Camp-Resort location situated 11 miles from Branson, Missouri, with plans to nearly double the park’s size and add new attractions and accommodation.
“This is another exciting acquisition for us,” said Ricky Jenkins in a press release. He is the president of The Jenkins Organization of Houston, Texas, which now owns and operates nine Jellystone Park locations across the country.
The Jellystone Park location in Forsyth currently has 161 RV sites and 54 rental cabins. Amenities for campers to enjoy include a swimming pool, a jump pad, a gem mining sluice, pedal kart rentals, and a potato launch.
A hundred and forty more campsites and 30 more cabins will be added to the park by Memorial Day next year. Plus, more fun awaits with a new resort-style pool, a pond with floating water slides, trampolines, and climbing structures, as well as a Water Wars water balloon game.
“This park will continue to offer what Jellystone Park locations are famous for, which is fun, family activities, and theme weekends that include everything from crafts and games to wagon rides with the Yogi Bear characters,” Jenkins said.
The Jenkins Organization also owns and operates eight other Jellystone Park locations, including parks in Bremen, Ga.; Carsonville, Mich.; Mount Gilead, Ohio; Nova, Ohio; Pelahatchie, Miss.; Monroe, Mo.; Milton, Penn.; and Warrens, Wis.
