Camping World Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: CWH) is developing a new location near Missouri’s Cape Girardeau, the company announced on Thursday through a release.
The new location is on approximately 12 acres of land at 49 Airport Road in Scott City, Missouri, just off Interstate 55 near the intersection of Nash and Airport Roads. It will be Camping World’s fifth facility in Missouri.
Construction has commenced with an anticipated opening in summer 2022.
“We are excited to expand in the southeastern area of Missouri, which is filled with such natural attractions, history, and cultural significance,” said Camping World CEO and Chairman Marcus Lemonis
“Each new location we open across the U.S. represents significant economic impact for the communities and convenient customer service and products for the 5.5 million active customers we serve.”
When construction is complete, the Cape Girardeau SuperCenter will be approximately 33,000 square feet, including 10,500 square feet of retail space and 14 service bays. The retailer’s SuperCenter will offer a wide range of new and used RVs from top manufacturers, in addition to a full assortment of RV and outdoor products and accessories and the entire portfolio of Good Sam products and services.
