New Glampground Coming to Minnesota

Experience the perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and coziness at Minnesota’s North Shore Camping, the newest addition to the state’s glamping scene. Located in Beaver Bay, this newly built glampground offers cabin-like tents, known in Swedish as “tälts,” or lodges which are designed to provide a unique and luxurious camping experience.

With reservations now open for the summer and fall seasons, outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers can indulge in the ultimate getaway.

North Shore Camping is situated on approximately 190 acres of picturesque land and features ten well-appointed sites, each offering a serene and secluded setting.

The tents are thoughtfully equipped with modern amenities, including solar power stations, a water dispenser, cookware, and bedding, ensuring a comfortable stay amid nature.

As part of the glamping experience, guests at North Shore Camping can also access various additional amenities.

A nearby pool, hot tub, and sauna provide opportunities for relaxation and rejuvenation after a day of outdoor adventures.

The resort’s website defines glamping as “a form of camping involving accommodation and facilities more luxurious than those associated with traditional camping,” North Shore Camping aims to exceed those expectations with its well-appointed facilities.

What sets North Shore Camping apart is its ownership, with a team of four individuals behind the venture. While three of the owners are confirmed to be executives at Leisure Hotels and Resorts, a reputable management company that oversees operations of various resorts in Minnesota, the fourth owner wishes to remain undisclosed.

Jamie Tatge, president of Leisure Hotels and Resorts and owner of Cove Point Lodge, a nearby resort located southwest of Beaver Bay, is listed as the primary owner of North Shore Camping in public records. Jon Driscoll, Leisure’s director of operations, and Gary Endicott, chief financial and strategic advisor, complete the ownership team, bringing their expertise to ensure a high-quality glamping experience for guests.

The grand opening celebration of North Shore Camping is scheduled for May 6, weather permitting. It promises to be a momentous occasion, showcasing the unique and exquisite features of this new glampground.

Guests can look forward to a one-of-a-kind outdoor experience that combines the tranquility of nature with the comfort of modern amenities.

With its prime location in Minnesota’s North Shore, North Shore Camping offers easy access to the state’s renowned natural beauty, including hiking trails, scenic vistas, and pristine lakes.

Whether it’s a romantic getaway for two or a family adventure, North Shore Camping promises to provide a memorable and luxurious glamping experience for all.
