Caitlyn Anderson of, one of the seven owners of the multi-generational family , said that they have been planning the for a while now.
“It’s been pretty crazy,” Anderson admitted. During an episode of MC Fireside Chats, Modern Campground’s weekly podcast, she shared that they have been talking about the improvements for the past five years since they started handling the property six years ago.

Asowners, Anderson said they tried to plan well ahead of time. After getting in touch with the construction team, they started getting the ready in January.
However, the process wasn’t smooth-sailing. While she believes that there will always be “hiccups” when it comes to expanding and building, the setbacks escalated during the pandemic. What was supposed to be three months of work took longer.
“It ended up that ourwere not really ready until the end of our season this year,” the owner shared.
At the moment, the park is hardwiring internet into every other site and anticipates the upgrades to finish soon. They have also done some hydro-seeding, cementing, as well as adding pads and patios to some of the.
