Montgomery Parks Introduces New Camping Options at Little Bennett Campground

Montgomery Parks introduced a new camping option at Little Bennett Campground in Clarksburg, Maryland. This full-service campground now offers three canvas tent sites.

In a press release, Laura Favin, assistant manager at Little Bennett Campground, mentioned that the new canvas tent sites provide a combination of rustic charm and modern comforts.

“Little Bennett Campground has camping options for everyone. The new canvas tent sites offer the best of both worlds: the rustic charm of camping with the convenience of modern comforts, so you can spend more time exploring and less time setting up,” Favin said.

Located on Loop C, the three canvas tent sites at Little Bennett Campground come equipped with two camp chairs, a propane stove, a lantern, a picnic table, a fire ring with a grill top, and an electrical outlet. Campers should bring their own bedding, cooking gear, and food supplies.

Beyond the canvas tent sites, Little Bennett Campground offers various accommodations. For those traveling with recreational vehicles, full hook-up sites are available. The campground also has yurts and cabins, as well as a group camping area that can accommodate up to 60 campers.

The Timber Ridge Cabin at Little Bennett Campground, available March through November, accommodates up to four people with a queen-sized bed and bunk beds. It features a small sink, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, under-counter refrigerator, and an outdoor charcoal grill. The cabin includes a bathroom with a shower, sink, and toilet, as well as a kitchen table, chairs, TV for DVDs, baseboard heating, ceiling fan, air conditioning, and a 5-foot porch with furniture.

In addition to its cabins, Little Bennett Campground offers over 25 miles of trails for hiking and biking and features 91 wooded campsites. Seasonal weekend activities cater to various interests.

Each campsite includes a two-vehicle gravel parking area, picnic table, campfire ring, and lantern post. Among the 91 sites, 63 have tent pads, and 22 offer full hook-ups for water, electric, and sewer. Accessible bathhouses with sinks, showers, toilets, and drinking fountains ensure a comfortable stay.

According to its website, there is a two-night minimum for all reservations, with a maximum stay of 14 nights.
