Sunday is bound to be a fun day as the Louisiana Association of RV Parks and Campgrounds (LARVC) kicks off its 2022 LARVC Conference at the Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder.
Taking place until Tuesday (April 12) next week, the conference is anticipated to be rich in fun and opportunities through a trade show, educational sessions, an auction, and more.
A dinner at “The Rez” at Coushatta Casino is scheduled on Sunday, but Monday will be the beginning of the tradeshow and informative sessions.
Exhibitors for this year include Cold River Mining, Spot2Nite, The Dyrt, RoverPass, RV Entergy Automation, and more.
This year’s workshops are information-filled with a slate of speakers scheduled to share their industry knowledge. Sterling Todd, the capital advisor for Fervent Capital, will talk about “Access to Capital for Park Investments” on Monday morning. He will be followed by Sean Vidrine, the CEO of Four Points RV Resorts, who will discuss “How to Grow Your Park With & Without Capital.”
Later that day, Richard Parker, who is the regional director of the Office of State Parks, will speak at the Golf Clubhouse where a dinner, auction, and more networking will be held.
Adding to the foot-stompin’ good time that Grammy award winner Wayne Toups will give to attendees, LARVC members and suppliers will surely stay entertained as they catch up over golf, cooking, or cocktail demonstrations.
More educational sessions are scheduled on Tuesday, which will also be the last day of the conference. A board election will also take place after the membership meeting.
A tour of nearby parks will wrap up the three-day conference.
This year’s conference was made possible by industry supporters and sponsors such as Leavitt Hospitality & Recreation Insurance, Allen Parish Tourist Commission, Land-O-Pines Family Campground, Lakeview Park & Beach, and Yogi Bear Jellystone Park.
