Lightspeed has been named a Gold Sponsor for the 2026 Compete for Kids campaign, a national fundraising initiative led by Care Camps Foundation in partnership with the RV Dealers Association (RVDA) and scheduled for June during National Camping Month.
The campaign brings together RV dealerships across the United States in a fundraising competition to support pediatric oncology camps that provide medically supervised outdoor experiences for children with cancer at no cost to their families.
The initiative aims to expand access to these camps, which offer structured environments designed to accommodate children undergoing treatment.
Lightspeed, which provides dealership management software and services to RV dealers nationwide, is participating in the campaign for the first time.
“Lightspeed sees the value in the RV industry coming together around a cause that aligns so closely with the outdoor lifestyle we all represent,” Jenna Berneck, development director of Care Camps Foundation, said in a press release.
“Healing through the outdoors is at the heart of what we do. Their leadership as a Gold Sponsor helps make it possible for more children with cancer to experience safe, medically supervised camp experiences filled with joy and belonging,” Berneck added.
Brian Provost, CEO of Lightspeed, said the company’s involvement reflects alignment with the foundation’s mission.
“At Lightspeed, we believe in partnering with organizations that share our values—and Care Camps Foundation is exactly that kind of partner,” Provost said. “The work they do to provide unforgettable camp experiences for children battling cancer is truly inspiring, and we’re proud to support the Compete for Kids campaign and help more kids experience the joy of camp.”
Care Camps Foundation has supported pediatric oncology camps across the United States for more than 40 years, providing funding to ensure camps can deliver medically supervised programs. The organization focuses exclusively on supporting these camps, working with donors and corporate partners to sustain operations and expand access.
Lightspeed currently serves more than 4,500 dealers across North America with cloud-based dealership management systems designed to support sales, service, and operational functions.
