Linn County Campgrounds Open on April 15

Linn County’s campgrounds (Iowa) are opening for the season next week.

According to a report, Buffalo Creek Park in Coggon and Pinicon Ridge Park, Matsell Bridge Natural Area, Mount Hope, and Wakpicada Natural Area, all located in Central City, are among the county parks opening on April 15.

Linn County Conservation Department invites the public to reconnect and explore nature by spending time outdoors camping this year.

Most campsites in these parks are equipped with electricity and water hook-ups. A firewood bundle can be purchased at each campground for $6 each. Most family campgrounds are on a first-come, first-served basis with self-registration.
