Nexus RV was named the “Business of the Month” by Indiana’s Elkhart Chamber of Commerce last Monday.
The chamber said that Nexus won the award for giving back to the community and its employees. Started by childhood friends, the company built an average of 21 RVs per month.
Nexus is the only RV manufacturer building all-steel coaches, a safety feature providing more strength and stability for a comfortable ride.
Nexus gave back to the community by supporting local sports teams, bands, and local events. While employees had a supportive working environment from the company, focusing on work/life balance.
Despite the challenges brought by the pandemic, the company was fortunate to experience high demand, purchasing two more buildings in Elkhart. It started with only 15 employees and currently has over 300 with low turnover.
Nexus RV has been a member of the Greater Elkhart Chamber since 2010.
