North Haven Campground Undergoes Major Transformation with New Ownership

Bonners Ferry (Idaho) just got a new addition to their lodging options as Munro, and Rachel Murdock purchased a local campground and gave it a complete makeover.

As per the Bonners Ferry Herald, the couple is excited to rebrand the business as North Haven Campground and provide visitors with an exceptional experience.

The 3.7-acre property boasts 21 RV sites, a log cabin-style bathhouse building, and five luxury log cabins.

The Murdocks worked with the previous owners of Log Inn to acquire the business and are now focused on making various upgrades and improvements to the campground.

Visitors to North Haven Campground can expect a welcoming and comfortable stay in a natural wooded setting. The location is just off Highway 95 on Tobe Way, only a few miles north of Bonners Ferry, and conveniently situated across the highway from the new Sturgeon Station development.

The Murdocks are investing in their new community and want to create job opportunities for Boundary County residents. After spending years operating a successful real estate brokerage and vacation rental management business in Hawaii, the couple returned to “the mainland” and chose Bonners Ferry as their new home.

The Murdocks want to make North Haven Campground a destination visitors will never forget.

To accomplish this, the Murdocks have been busy adding various amenities and services to the campground. The Outpost camp store and office are now open, conveniently located in the front of the Bathhouse log building. Guests will also appreciate the laundry room’s newly installed washers and dryers.

The couple is committed to providing guests with an unforgettable experience. The Murdocks have plans to add more full hook-up RV sites and other glamping options. Guests can look forward to installing playground equipment, an authentic Hawaiian shave ice business on-site, and a new walking trail loop.

The new name and upgrades reflect the Murdocks’ desire to create a unique and memorable experience for guests visiting Bonners Ferry. The nature walking trail loop and other new amenities provide guests with the perfect opportunity to enjoy the area’s beautiful natural surroundings.

The Murdocks have transformed the campground into a place where visitors can enjoy the beauty of the great outdoors, relax, and create unforgettable memories.
