Winding Waters Riverfront RV Resort, a luxury RV resort in metro Atlanta, opened in Emerson, Georgia. The resort offers 252 full-service RV sites and a wide array of amenities.
The luxury resort, situated along the Etowah River and easily accessible from I-75, provides visitors with proximity to Lake Allatoona, Lakepoint Sports Complex, and downtown Cartersville.
Designed with “convenience,” the location is ideal for families and travelers exploring the region. “This resort has far surpassed our initial vision,” Reece Stead, partner at Forrest Street Partners, the real estate firm behind the project, said.
“We’ve created a destination that not only caters to RV enthusiasts but also offers an escape for those looking to stay in our cabins… We believe this resort will be a tremendous asset to the Emerson community and beyond,” Stead added.
Winding Waters’ amenities include a lazy river, zero-entry pool, pickleball courts, and more, enhancing its appeal for guests seeking relaxation and recreation.
According to a press release, a ribbon-cutting ceremony on September 5 marked the official opening of the resort. The event was attended by local officials, chamber of commerce representatives, business owners, and community members. The celebration was a milestone for the resort and a promising development for the local economy. Winding Waters is expected to contribute significantly to “local tourism and the economy.”
Doug Davidson, CEO of New South Construction, expressed pride in the resort’s completion. “The finished product is a testament to our commitment to quality and our belief in the potential of this location. We look forward to welcoming guests from near and far to experience all this resort offers,” Davidson explained.
