Lippert, an RV accessories and components company, hosted almost 400 people at its second annual consumer event, The Lippert Getaway, at the end of October in Pine Mountain, Georgia, USA.
In total, the event had 394 Lippert Scouts and 71 Lippert team members in attendance, which included more than 147 campsites at Pine Mountain RV Resort and comprised 36 states and 23 different RV brands, according to a report by Camping Trade World.
A consumer-focused group as consumer-focused group, the Lippert Scouts, was established in the year 2020 to bring together 50 to 100 super-users to give feedback on products and help spread the word about the amazing things Lippert offers to the RV community.
The group now has 17,000 members committed to improving the RV lifestyle by sharing information and sharing experiences, offering feedback on products directly to Lippert, and participating in unique opportunities that propel the industry of RVs ahead.
The Getaway held 16 workshops on the RV lifestyle, which included special guests, meals, and evening entertainment. It was also possible to reserve a complete RV service as well as a variety of vendors who showcased new and innovative RV-related products.
“We are pleased with the turnout of our second Getaway. The atmosphere across the event was like a huge reunion celebration of old and new friends. We have learned that RVers are seeking community, and we hope the Getaway will be an annual meeting point for years to come,” said Lippert Customer Experience Vice President Nicole Sult.
During the event, Lippert announced the date and location of its 2023 Getaway, which was met with a standing ovation. It will be held on September 19 to 23, 2023, at Redrock RV Park, an Open Road Resorts Property, in Island Park, Idaho.
