Coachella Lakes RV Resort has announced its schedule of Labor Day weekend activities, with family-oriented events and recreational tournaments planned from Sept. 4 through Sept. 6, alongside a community supply drive supporting a foster home shelter.
The lineup includes activities throughout the holiday weekend, beginning with two events that will run for the duration of the celebration: a Back-to-School Supply Drive for a foster home shelter and a Fishing Tournament.
The schedule combines recreational competitions, craft activities and evening entertainment for guests staying at the resort during the holiday period.
Programming on Friday, Sept. 4, begins with an Honor System Putting Tournament at 9 a.m., followed by a Foosball Tournament at 1 p.m. The day’s activities conclude with a Dive-In Movie Night featuring The Parent Trap at 8 p.m.
Saturday’s schedule includes five organized activities beginning with a Pup Cup Social at 9 a.m. Guests can also participate in a DIY Lake Lantern activity at 11 a.m. and a Wild Tie Dye session at 2 p.m.
Later in the afternoon, the resort will host a Water Balloon Toss at 3:30 p.m. The day’s events will conclude with a Lake Lantern Release at 7:30 p.m.
The Labor Day weekend schedule is designed to provide a mix of recreational, craft-based and community-focused activities over the three-day holiday period. The inclusion of the Back-to-School Supply Drive adds a charitable component to the event lineup by collecting supplies for a foster home shelter while guests participate in the weekend’s activities.
Coachella Lakes RV Resort offers 351 big-rig-friendly full-hookup RV sites and fully furnished one- and two-bedroom cottages.
The property also features five lakes, two pools, an 18-hole putting course, pet-friendly accommodations and 5G Wi-Fi.
The property is located minutes from Interstate 10 via the Dillon Road exit, providing convenient access for travelers moving between Los Angeles, Phoenix and other destinations across the Southwest.
The resort said its pull-through and back-in RV sites, along with a full-service check-in process, are intended to accommodate both overnight stays and longer visits.
The Labor Day activities are scheduled to take place Sept. 4 through Sept. 6 at the resort, with events spread across the weekend to provide guests with multiple recreational and social opportunities during the holiday.
