Two of Sun Outdoors’ resorts received awards during a luncheon held Wednesday, November 9, at the 2022 Outdoor Hospitality Conference & Expo (OHCE) in Orlando, Florida.
Sun Outdoors Rocky Mountains was awarded National Park of the Year (Large) and Sun Retreats Avalon was awarded Plan-It Green Friendly Park of the Year (Large/Mega).

Unique onsite offerings include partnerships with Cape May County Zoo, The Wetlands Institute, a local butterfly expert, the Cape May County Fire Department, and more to help provide guest and team member education.
Sun Outdoors was also a finalist in two other award categories with Sun Outdoors Coos Bay (Oregon) nominated for National Park of the Year (Small) and Sun Outdoors Myrtle Beach (S.C.) for National Park of the Year (Mega).
