MARVAC Publishes 2022 Edition of Directory & Travel Guide

The Michigan Association of Recreation Vehicles and Campgrounds (MARVAC) is proud to announce the publication of their 2022 edition of Michigan RV and Campgrounds

According to a release, the annual 68-page directory and travel guide is a source for RVers to turn to as they set out to camp, explore, and experience Michigan.

The directory listing is updated every year with current MARVAC members, which is comprised of private campgrounds, RV parks, RV resorts, dealerships, suppliers, and associates. Complete contact information and amenities are included with each member listing.

There are six fold-out maps for each region of the state that depict the physical locations of members: Upper Peninsula, Northwest, Northeast, Southwest, South-Central, and Southeast. These maps mimic the interactive maps located on the MARVAC website. The backside of each map offers a regional driving tour as well as recommended activities and suggestions from the MARVAC staff.

This year, Michigan RV and Campgrounds focuses on camping and RV ownership throughout the seasons. Editorial content includes tips for new RV owners, water safety information from the Michigan DNR, modifications and upgrades for RVs, creating a parking pad, tips on what to do when the unexpected happens, and how to take up star walking.

“We are pleased to be able to offer this directory to the RVing community,” says John Lindley, president and CEO. “It’s a resource RVers – both locals and those from out of state – can have on hand as they travel throughout Michigan, and have access to anytime from their mobile devices. Our members consist of private campgrounds and RV-related businesses, which is very useful for campers, plus the edition is full of ideas of where to go and what to do in the state.”The directory is available for free by request at www.michiganrvandcampgrounds.org. A mobile-friendly digital version is also available on the website for easy reference on the go. Issues can be picked up by attending one of the MARVAC RV and Camping Shows hosted at various locations across Michigan in the spring and fall, as well as at 14 Michigan Welcome Centers and through the West Michigan Tourism Association.
