Campspot, a camping software provider and online consumer marketplace for campground reservations, is reporting a 123% year-over-year increase in summer bookings from June through September for private campgrounds and RV resorts. This growth reflects an increase in demand across all three primary lodging types, including RV sites, tent sites, and glamping.
To help campers get inspired and prepare for their upcoming summer trips, the brand has released the third issue of its popular Campspot Outdoor Almanac.
This downloadable magazine is a comprehensive guide to all things camping and outdoors, featuring more than 100 campground recommendations, road trip inspiration and itineraries, state-specific spotlights, a camper’s guide to astrotourism, expert commentary, and more.
Similarly, Campspot wants to ensure its campground partners are maximizing their summer bookings.
Campspot data shows that campgrounds on Campspot Marketplace with complete listing pages make 20% more revenue on average, which is why they’ve created a free guide listing the top tips and tricks for how to optimize a campground listing page to drive more bookings on an OTA.
Titled “Anatomy of a Campground Listing Page,” this exclusive supplement to the Campspot Outdoor Almanac contains:
- Data-backed tips for how to stand out on an OTA
- Advice for the ideal description
- Photography dos and don’ts
- Expert insights
- And more
With summer just around the corner, now is the perfect time to ensure your listing page is in top shape as more campers plan their next big summer adventure.
