The Caravan and Motorhome Club is encouraging campers to experience a safari summer stay on the Isle of Wight with Experience Freedom.
“For a great break away with family or friends, the four-night ‘Sail and Stay’ includes glamping in a safari tent for up to five people and ferry crossing with a car, all from just £341,” said the club’s spokesperson.
The journey begins with a breath of fresh sea air as glampers cross the Solent on one of three ferry routes included in the deal. They can choose to sail from either Portsmouth, Southampton, or Lymington.
The destination, Southland Campsite, is situated on the outskirts of the small village of Newchurch, in the beautiful Arreton Valley on the Isle of Wight.
Half of the Isle of Wight is designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, offering numerous breath-taking walks starting from the campsite, as reported by the club.
The nearby towns of Shanklin and Sandown, only three miles away, offer sheltered bays and sandy beaches safe for bathing, making it a perfect location for an enjoyable summer holiday escape.
The Isle of Wight boasts more than 120 attractions and places of interest, including dinosaur museums and animal parks. These attractions provide glampers with an active getaway, allowing them to explore the island’s rich history and diverse wildlife.
