A new glamping site between Lincoln and Newark (England, United Kingdom) is opening later this month.
According to a report, Wigwam Holidays Orchard Stables is a serene sanctuary in Collingham, located in a 23-acre equestrian center. Horses are welcome to be part of their owners’ relaxing holiday.
The site opens with six luxurious wooden glamping cabins, complete with ensuite facilities, a private outdoor dining area, hot tubs, fire pits, and barbecues on May 27.
Ian Taylor, who co-owns the business with his partner Cathy Stacey, said that they are extremely pleased to open the new site and make the most of their unique location.
“We have a glorious countryside on our doorstep, and the area has a fantastic range of footpaths and bridleways, making this a perfect spot for walkers, nature enthusiasts, and horse riders,” Taylor said.
Stacey added that they have been running Collingham Horse Adventure Park (CHAPs) for several years, offering a different kind of adventure for horses and their riders, with numerous obstacles and challenges to tackle along the course.
“Riders often camp over, but now we can offer a luxury accommodation option, meaning both horses and owners get a truly great experience,” Stacey added.
Wigwam Holidays Orchard Stables will be open all year round. This is the newest addition to the Wigwam Holidays network and joins 87 other sites across the UK.
