Fendt-Caravan, a leading German caravan manufacturer, has partnered with booking platform AlpacaCamping, a young company revolutionizing the camping market in the country.
The platform helps people access camping spots close to nature and create unique camping experiences, according to a report.
Steffen Drews, Simon Illner, Christopher Feuerlein, and Dominik Quambusch founded AlpacaCamping just over a year ago. The platform aims to offer its users a new kind of camping and promote sustainable regional tourism where farms, wine growers, private individuals, associations, and municipalities can provide unused land for camping.
New camping pitches capacity will also be established to relieve overcrowding. Anyone can create an AlpacaCamping account for free and become a guest or a host.
Free spaces can be offered as pitch advertisements on www.AlpacaCamping.de for camping guests.
Each provider will set the site’s price per night individually. Users planning to pitch can conveniently book it for the desired period and pay conveniently online. Booking requests will not be necessary since they can be booked several weeks in advance or a few minutes before arrival.
