CARAVAN SALON 2024, held in Düsseldorf, welcomed more than 250,000 visitors from 69 countries. With 778 exhibitors from 35 countries, the trade fair provided a platform for manufacturers, dealers, and visitors to engage in business exchanges.

Marius Berlemann, managing director at Messe Düsseldorf, expressed his satisfaction with the event’s outcome, emphasizing the “optimistic mood” throughout the exhibition. He highlighted the significance of the fair as a dialogue platform for caravanning.

“Caravanning is a perfect fit for today’s world and stands for a flexible as well as attractive form of travelling,” Berlemann stated.

According to a press release, the conference series ‘Destination Future’ was attended by industry professionals, focusing on the future of camping destinations and tourism. Experts from across the globe, including Asia, Australia, and the USA, came to the event. This year’s special shows and entertainment offerings catered to both newcomers and seasoned camping enthusiasts.

Bernd Löher, president of the Caravaning Industrie Verband (CIVD), expressed his satisfaction with the event’s outcome, noting the continued enthusiasm for mobile holidays. The diverse range of visitors, spanning all age groups and social backgrounds, demonstrated the growing appeal of caravanning.

Löher also pointed out that the fair attracted prominent figures from politics, business, and science. “In addition, the trade fair again attracted important individuals from politics, business and science, who learnt more on site about how caravanning has already developed into an indispensable driver for business and tourism in Germany and how this positive trend can be promoted further in future,” Löher explained.

The 63rd edition of CARAVAN SALON featured a record number of exhibitors, who presented a wide array of products and innovations. From motorhomes to caravans and accessories, visitors had the opportunity to experience the latest in recreational vehicle technology. The event also highlighted nature regions and campsites, providing a comprehensive overview of the caravanning lifestyle.

Gerd Adamietzki, chief sales officer at Knaus Tabbert, praised the fair’s organization and the interest generated by their products. He remarked that the positive feedback from customers and dealers exceeded expectations.

“We are very pleased with the positive feedback from our dealers and customers. CARAVAN SALON Düsseldorf provides us with the ideal conditions to present ourselves and to inspire more people with our innovative products and for this exciting type of holidaying,” Adamietzki added.
