Leveled Up Luxury Glamping Experience Coming to Punta Mita Mexico

Hotel chain Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts brings an all-new way to glamp in Mexico.

On February 15, the chain announced plans to develop an innovative resort concept that focuses on creating highly customizable itineraries, led by personal guides and programs designed to reflect the beauty and history of Mexico.

According to a report, the entire experience will be held at a new, sustainable, luxury tented resort offered as an expansion of the existing Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita.

Named Naviva, the Four Seasons Resort is set to launch in Punta Mita, Mexico, and is expected to open by the end of 2022.

Naviva Resort will offer the luxury of 15 tents tucked away in the lush forests that lie in Riviera Nayarit, close to Puerto Vallarta.

Each of the tents and common spaces will offer sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean. The resort will also mirror its natural surroundings to help connect guests with the land and sea in this exquisite setting.

The Naviva Resort will be an exceptional retreat for those seeking highly individualized service, curated wellness experiences, and artful culinary offerings that reflect the culture and character of Mexico,” said Bart Carnahan, Four Seasons’ president of global business development and portfolio management.

“This is an ambitious and innovative new project for our brand, with every detail focused on the wellbeing of the guests, the sustainability of the design, and the celebration of the destination.”

The trip starts even before taking off. Before their journey, guests will be matched with a personal guide who will create an individual itinerary based on the specific needs of their travel preferences.

The guests can select among a range of activities or just sit back in tranquil surroundings. Alongside the activities on the premises, guests will have full access to Four Seasons Resort Punta Mita with its bar and restaurant, other fitness and spa facilities, and access to the beach and pool.

On arrival, the guests will be greeted by a guide on a bamboo cocoon bridge that overlooks a ravine of 30 feet. The guide will lead guests to their butterfly-themed tents set on hillsides for the best views. Each tent is equipped with a private pool, expansive decks, and some even have private outdoor gardens.

The common areas and tents, including its spa and pool and an outdoor gym, will be adorned with an organic look and design and will incorporate eco-friendly elements such as solar panels, efficient water systems, and natural drainage.

At the same time, the resort will utilize electric vehicles, upcycled artwork, and locally-sourced ingredients, produce, and materials to improve guests’ experiences while minimizing its footprint.

Naviva Resort is for anyone, solo travelers, couples, or those traveling with close friends or family.

“With most offerings included as part of the stay, and digital disconnection highly encouraged, guests will be able to fully relax, rejuvenate, explore and get the most out of their journey.”
